Barcelona’s Joao Felix wins La Liga’s Goal of the Month award for Cadiz stunner
Barcelona forward Joao Felix has won La Liga’s Goal of the Month award for April after scoring a stunner against Cadiz.
The Atletico Madrid loanee struck the only goal of the game in spectacular style to secure Barcelona all three points.
Marcos Alonso sent a corner into the box that was deflected and fell perfectly to Felix. The forward then pulled off a spectacular bicycle kick to find the back of the net and put the visitors in front.
Felix’s goal was his seventh in La Liga this season for Barcelona. He has also scored three times in the Champions League during the current campaign.
The Barca star beat off competition from Rayo Vallecano’s Isi Palazon and Deportivo Alaves’ Luis Rioja to land the award.
This is the second time in a row that a Barca player has won Goal of the Month. Lamine Yamal picked up the gong in March for his goal against Mallorca.
