Wednesday was photo day at FC Barcelona as Xavi Hernández and his players gathered to pose for the official team photograph for the 2023/24 season.
The camera was ready for them on the Tito Vilanova field just before the morning training session. They were naturally joined by club president Joan Laporta and coach Xavi Hernández, as well as his assistants Óscar Hernández and Sergio Alegre.
The first team players were joined by Lamine Yamal, Marc Guiu, Héctor Fort, Marc Casadó, Pau Cubarsí, Diego Kochen and Ander Astralaga, who are officially from the reserves but have been training and even playing with the senior squad this season.
Training to follow
After the cameras had done their job, there was work to do. The players had a training session, with the focus on the game at home to in-form Mallorca this coming Friday. There was also the welcome sight of Marcos Alonso joining in with some of the exercises as he gets nearer and hearer to being declared fit again.
Kochen, Cubarsí, Fort, Marc Guiu, Marc Casadó, Unai and Moha of Barça Atlètic also took part in today’s workout.
