Deco responds to talk Barcelona have decided to loan out Vitor Roque
Barcelona sporting director Deco has tried to play down speculation about Vitor Roque’s future amid growing talk the club want to send him out on loan.
The Brazilian’s future has come under scrutiny after Xavi admitted he could leave this summer which brought an angry response from his agent Andre Cury.
Speculation ahead of Barca’s game against Real Sociedad claimed Barca have already decided to loan out Vitor Roque – a question that was put to Deco ahead of kick-off.
“It’s normal… when there’s no football, that there are news in the media,” he told the media.
“It’s difficult, no games for 10 days… Barça generates a lot of news. I will not share anything on our plan here, we plan that between closed doors.”
Barca appear to be heading for a problem with Vitor Roque, particularly if they want him to go out on loan, as Cury has said he will seek a permanent exit if that is the case.
