Review of the match Granada – Barcelona:

An exciting football match between Granada and Barcelona took place recently, ending in a 2-2 draw. The match was played at the Estadio Nuevo Los Cármenes, Granada’s home stadium, as part of the La Liga championship. The first half started with a sharp spurt when Granada’s B. Zaragoza scored two goals within the first 29 minutes. This unexpected turn of events put the home side in a favourable position and Barcelona’s players were forced to look for a response. Just before the break, Barcelona made their first substitution: instead of R. Araujo, J. Kaunde came off the bench. Kaunde. This change, it seems, played its role, because on 45 minutes Barcelona managed to get back thanks to a goal by L. Yamal. The first half ended with the score 2:1 in favour of Granada. In the second half both teams made several substitutions to bring fresh energy into their squads. In the 58th minute, Granada replaced M. Uzuni with A. Puertas, while G. Puertas was substituted with M. Uzuni. Puertas and G. Villar for N. Petrovic. Another substitution was made in the 59th minute – A. Fernandez replaced R. Torrent.

Barcelona also made their first substitution in the 61st minute – F. Lopez replaced S. Roberto. The match became increasingly tense, and in the 66th and 68th minutes I. Mikel and M. Rubio received yellow cards respectively. In the 73rd minute Granada made their fourth substitution, replacing L. Boye with J. Callejon. Barcelona followed suit in the 76th minute, replacing L. Yamal with O. Romeu. In the 84th minute, Granada made their last substitution, replacing R. Sanchez for J. Vallejo. When there were only a few minutes left to the end of the match, in the 86th minute Barcelona’s S. Roberto scored the decisive goal, levelling the score. However, the joy was short-lived: in the same minute J. Vallejo received a yellow card. In the 90th minute the goal for Barcelona was cancelled because Joao Felix was found guilty of offside. At the end of the game, R. Torrent (Granada) and J. Cancelo (Barcelona) received yellow cards in the last minute of the penalty time. This tense and intense match between Granada and Barcelona demonstrated the skill and determination of both teams. The final score of 2-2 emphasised the competitiveness of La Liga and the unpredictability of football.
